Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have Spanish-speaking teachers?
At this time, we do not have dedicated Spanish-speaking teachers. However, all children are absolutely welcome, and our team will do everything we can to create a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for every child.
Are the snacks allergy-friendly?
Yes! We are mindful of food safety. We do not serve anything containing peanuts or tree nuts, and all snacks are dye-free.
Do you provide lunch?
We do not serve a full lunch during the week. However, kids will receive a generous snack each day. On Friday, we celebrate with pizza for all participants.
Can my child bring their own food or snacks?
Absolutely. If your child has dietary restrictions or simply prefers their own snacks or drinks, they are more than welcome to bring them..
What age groups can attend VBS?
VBS is open to children ages 3-12 All activities are designed to be age-appropriate and engaging for each group.
What time does VBS start and end?
Drop Off Begins at 7:30am, VBS starts at 8:00AM and Pick-up Time is 12:00PM
Will Anything Cost Money During VBS
VBS is completely free because we want every child to have the opportunity to be part of the experience. Throughout the week, we highlight a special cause and give kids the option to bring an offering if they’d like. Participation is entirely optional, and any giving simply goes toward supporting that cause or charity.
What should my child wear?
Kids should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Since activities can get active (and sometimes a little messy), we recommend clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
Is VBS safe and supervised?
Yes. All children are supervised by trained volunteers and staff. Safety is a top priority, and we maintain a secure check-in and check-out process.
Can parents stay during VBS?
Due to limited space and to help kids fully engage, VBS is typically a drop-off program. However, parents are always welcome to contact us if special arrangements are needed. And parents are encouraged to attend our Final group assembly where the kids will receive their certificates
What will my child be doing each day?
Each day includes Bible lessons, music, crafts, wild games, snacks, and interactive activities designed to help kids grow in faith while having an unforgettable time.
What happens on the last day of VBS?
Friday is celebration and water day! Kids will enjoy special water slides, mini pools, water pads, pizza, and a fun wrap-up of everything they’ve learned throughout the week.
What if my child has special needs—can they still attend?
Absolutely! We welcome every child and do our best to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all. If your child has specific needs, we encourage you to let us know during registration or reach out ahead of time so we can partner with you and make any necessary accommodations to help them have a great VBS experience. (We also encourage any parent whose children have special needs to feel free to attend with your child)
Are there loud sounds or flashing lights?
Some parts of VBS—like music, games, and large group sessions—can include upbeat music, amplified sound, and occasional lighting effects. We aim to keep everything fun and comfortable, but if your child is sensitive to noise or lights, please let us know ahead of time. We’re happy to work with you to make adjustments so they can still enjoy the experience.
Will my child be outside during VBS?
Some activities—like games or special events—may take place outdoors, weather permitting. We do our best to keep kids safe and comfortable, with plenty of water breaks and supervision. If you have any concerns about outdoor time, feel free to let us know so we can make appropriate accommodations.
Will pictures be taken of my child?
Photos and videos may be taken during VBS to capture special moments and may be used for church communications, social media, or future promotions. While we do our best to be mindful, it may not always be possible to avoid including every child in group photos or video..
How Large is Your VBS
Our VBS is hosted in a smaller, more intimate setting, which allows us to create a fun and engaging experience for every child. Attendance typically ranges between 50-60 or more kids ages 3-12, not exceeding 100 kids max. This helps us maintain a safe, personal, and well-supervised environment.
Rainforest Falls VBS Kidz Camp 2026 is looking for energetic, passionate volunteers ready to help create an unforgettable experience for kids this summer! Whether you need volunteer hours or simply love working with children, this is your opportunity to make a difference while having an amazing time.
